Linocut reduction, with embossing (2009)

I am interested in how we make sense of the Earth’s surface. Reading a landscape with a two dimensional map can be challenging. Whilst hiking in Europe, the trail revealed itself via stone cairns, markers on rocks and a shepherd’s shelter. These works were exhibited at the Singapore Tyler Print Institute in 2009 as part of the exhibition Surfaces.
