Alison Wilson graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Leeds Beckett University, UK in 1985 and completed a Certificate in Printmaking from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore in 2007.

She has worked as a professional artist for the past 15 years, exhibiting in the UK, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, and Spain. In Singapore she has participated regularly in the annual open studios at ArtWalk@Wessex and the Affordable Art Fair. In 2010 she was awarded 1st Prize for ‘Ocean Artist of the Year’, Voice of the Ocean Competition at ADEX. She continues to update and widen her skills by travelling to Australia, Japan and Indonesia to learn more about printmaking and textile techniques. Her work has been acquired by many private collectors from around the world.
